After graduating from college Dave spent most of his professional life in Real Estate and New Construction Sales.  He began his career in 1972 with Barton Realty and spent 19 years with Barthel Realty and Construction.  He served as Sales Manager from 1984 to 1990 and joined Edina Realty in 1990 to the present.



Education

Dave is a graduate of Elk River high school and North Hennepin State with a degree in Sales and Marketing.  He attended numerous Real Estate Sales and Appraisal courses.  Dave also graduated from the Realtors® Institute in 1975, earned his Appraisal Certification in 1985 and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation in 1992.

     

Hobbies and Interests

Dave enjoys golf, fishing, riding his Harley, and he and his family are avid campers at various state parks and campgrounds.  He is a member of the Elk River Legion Post #112, Elk River Chamber of Commerce, served on the Good Fellowship Committee-Minneapolis Association of Independent Fee Appraisers, member of St. Andrews Knights of Columbus and past vice president of St. Andrews Parish Council.
